Thanksgiving

Hey! Sorry it's been awhile. I (Maisy) get, distracted. Any way, Christmas is almost here! But first, we must cover Thanksgiving. We had pie for breakfast, ice cream for lunch, and the greatest turkey for dinner! Here's the break down:

The Turkey bowl: Only dad and Wilson went so.... yeah....

Pie Breakfast: All of our friends got together to eat PIE!!! My favorites were Mixed Berry, OREO CREAM, and..... That's it. Pie isn't my favorite.

Tom Turkey Treasure Hunt: This was pretty fun. We drove around the whole neighborhood looking for the treasure Da- I mean TOM TURKEY hid. But, the best thing is that when we went to Palio's to look for the a clue, He let us come in and gave us FREE ICE CREAM!!! It was really awesome. He was really nice.

Dinner: Not much to say except THE TURKEY WAS SO GOOD!! I LOVED IT SO MUCH!! NOT TO MENTION THE POTATOS, ROLLS, AND GRAVY!!!!

HAPPY LATE THANKSGIVING!!
( Sorry, I accidentally hit caps lock....)

CATS and giraffes

Well,  The show CATS has recently ended. I was Alonzo, a black and white cat. It was SO fun. I even had a solo! Well, a singing solo and a dance solo.( if you haven't guessed Maisy's writing.)

Those are pictures of me in full costume!

Also, We had the 10th off of school, so Wilson, dad and I hit Six flags one more time, while Ace, mom and doodle went to the zoo. We all had SO much fun. here are some pictures from both. The zoo first:

As you see, Doodle was a little scared at first, but he had fun to!

Now Sixflags:

Explanation: It was the fright fest at six flags so there were a bunch of "creepy" Decorations. I LOVED it and took like fifty pictures of them all. But I didn't think to take any pictures of the rides though........oh well......Next time!!

Bye Bye Summer and Hello School!

Yes, The day has come. The day Doodle, Wilson, and I (Maisy) Hit the milestones Pre-K, High school and Middle school. Crazy, right! As usual , we took our first day of school pictures by the fireplace. Wilson and I were almost late because as we were getting into the car mom shouted, "WAIT! WE DIDN'T TAKE THE PICTURES!"

OK, That might be a little exaggerated. She didn't shout and we weren't late.

But, Here are those pictures:       ( Wilson said, "Mom, I'll take the picture, But my smile will be very                                                                                                                          fake." )

Well, that's our little boy! All grown up. *sniffle sniffle*

Until next time!

LAKE DAY!!

Well.... it's Maisy again!!! Apparently, I'm the only blogger these days! Yesterday, our friend Josh Hopewell took us out on his boat! We knee boarded, Water skied, and even got in some tube time! (sadly, after we had all gone three times, we found the tube had a hole.)
The whole day over all was wonderful.( I think i deepened my love for Pita chips and Humus!! )
We all got pretty pink, especially my mom and I. We tried to tan, but you know my family!!
He are some highlight pictures!

Doodle found a new hat after digging in his closet. He insisted he wear it.

Wilson and Ace went together twice and, I think they were crazier than a circus!!

Wilson sadly had to take a break while I joined Ace in the tube.

Doodle didn't enjoy his experience. We went as slow as a stubborn mule, thanks to lil' general.

These are both pictures of me working my tan/sunburn.

See you next time!!

Back in Arkansas

Maisy AGAIN......  Today I'm gonna talk about the trip we just got back from!! Our Arkansas trip! We got to visit Grammy and pop while our mom and dad went to Girl's camp. The first couple of days our cousins were there with us. we went out for crepes and went to an AWESOME science museum.

Pop, My cousin scarlett, and me enjoying crepes.

Wilson and our cousin Luke "playing" with magnets

 Doodle being crafty!!!

then, after mom and dad came back we went out to swim. Sadly, Arkansas weather had a different idea. so... we ended up going to play miniature golf, which was also fun.

( We got photo bombed by POP )

Well, we are almost done traveling for the summer!

Another Year, Another Recital.....

Who do you think is writing today? If you guessed Maisy, Then you're correct!! Who else would write about a bunch of little girls jumping around on a stage? I would!!!

This is me after my FIRST dance. Yep!
That's right! I took TWO classes this year!
(My first dance style was contemporary).

Actually, my mom took this picture without telling me.

                                                               Oh, aren't we SO cute?

This is a video of my second dance, the ballet one. The dance was to  the song Clocks. I really liked this year's dance!
(Sorry if the video doesn't work. This computer is kinda strange.)

This is a picture of my ballet dance. i'm the very first one with my right hand in the air. Do you see me?

There are so many other things we need to catch up on, but I'll let my brothers do that. Grandparents, you may have missed this year, but we'll hopefully see you next year at this "grand" performance, ;)

The Melissa 2nd ward Variety show

Hey! Maisy here. On Friday, our church ward had a Variety show. It all started at 5:45 when we got in the car and headed for the Melissa High School. At 6:00, food was served. only half of the people were here, so we were first in line. The Tacos were extremely good. Not only was there TACOS, but there was COTTON CANDY and POPCORN.

Now to the entertainment: First of all, there was the art teacher of the High School who was drawing portraits of everyone. He was quite
    popular.

Ace and I were both in an act. Ace did a dance from the wii game "Just Dance". I'm sure you ALL know it. It was called YMCA. He did it with some of his friends. I, on the other hand, read the 1st placing oral reading poem, The pig, by Ronald Daul. Everyone thought they were both awesome.

Eventually, the fun ended and we all went home. The Variety Show has now become a new tradition!

All About Ace

( Maisy will be typing the words straight from Ace's mouth. )

Hi. my name is Ace. I am 8 and I have been baptized.

This is me at a blue bonnet field.

What's been happening is I have got a hair cut.

In baseball we've won 4 times and we've lost 2 times and we've tied once. Baseball is fun.

At school, i'm learning division and how to tell time. it is fun.

Today is Sunday, the spiritual day and we do things like writing in our journals, visiting and serving friends, going to church, and spending time with family. Sometimes our family is crazy and we don't have time to mess around and stuff and sometimes we just can't make it but when everyone read, we say a prayer and go to church.

And now for pictures of ME!!

THE END

Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Everything Else in Between!

Hi, Wilson is taking over today. We all apologize for the absence of posts lately, *cough, cough* DAD, *cough*. Anyway, to day i am talking about HOLIDAYS at the G house. Let's start at Thanksgiving. For Thanksgiving we all gathered at The Ming's house in New Orleans, Louisiana. Here are some of the highlights.

We started off our Thanksgiving Break with Pumpkin Stew, before traveling to Louisiana.
Dad having fun at Raising Canes
We saw an AMAZING Sword-Sallower on the streets, in downtown New Orleans. This performance also sparked a bit of controversy between the cousins. Some said the swallowing was fake. Luke, the actual person who pulled the sword out of the man's throat, said it was 100% real. It was fascinating whether it was real or not.
Here we are, lighting candles in one the oldest churches in Louisiana.

Sadly we lost some of the Thanksgiving photos, are just did not have any, but we had tons of fun any way.

In fact, we had so much fun, that the whole gang got back together for CHRISTMAS
Again we lacked in photos, but the kids got one present from grandma and grandpa that was really cool.

Drumroll please.

Yes we got a Wii U. It was very well received and is very loved.

Overall we had and awesome last couple months and hope to have more stories to tell, in our next post. Love- The G's
