Kindergarten?

How is our boy Wilson similar to a longhorn steer? Well, they've both been rounded up! Wil attended his kindergarten roundup last night. We got him registered at Melissa Ridge Elementary School. We cannot believe he's going to be a kindergartner in August!

All signs point to success for our five-year-old.

Thumbs up to learnin'!

Go Cardinals!!

HI DUCKS!

We have a great little duck pond at the entrance of our community. We've seen ducks, geese, and turtles all living in the pond. Every time we drive by the pond, we all take turns saying, "Hi ducks! Hi geese! Hi turtles!" It's fun, and surprisingly hasn't gotten old yet.

We've been watching the progress lately of a family of geese that live on the pond. A mom and dad have been rasing five little goslings on the pond. We've watched these little guys grow from yellow fuzzballs into the "kid geese" (Wil's term) that they are today. Wil wishes that the baby geese would have seen him first, so that they could follow him around instead of their parents. We don't know where he learned that.
Enjoy the nature shots!

Wilson's World (Narrated by Wil, typed by Daddy)

I like to play Mario Kart with my Dad.

We like to be the brothers (Mario and Luigi) when we play.

Wilson sometimes likes to be Mario, and sometimes Brett likes to be Luigi. Wilson also likes Bowser.

Sometimes when Wilson plays alone, he likes to be Toad. Toad is really fast, but sometimes he falls out of his car.

I like this picture of Mario and sometimes he points at me when he comes alive, but sometimes he stays in the computer.

Sometimes I love to look at this picture because I think it's cool.

Mario Kart is totally awesome and cool.

Inside the Twisted Classroom of Señor G

Today was my annual Señor G Fashion Show, this year renamed, "Señor G's Top Model." Wow, it was fun. Some students went all out on the fashion, and the Spanish was extra sassy. I love the kids at my school, and I look forward to teaching them every day. I have the best job!!

Here are the best fashion photos I've seen in a while:

A Busy Day

We had a lot of important things to do today. Luckily, we had the help of some great kids.

We had to feed the animals (sea monkeys) . . .

We had to water the new herbs (cilantro, basil, thyme, and rosemary) . . .

We had to help the stuffed superheroes perform their duties (Fozzie, Luigi, Shaki, and Coco) . . .

We accomplished our goals, and now we're ready to settle in and watch Dancing With the Stars.

Go Apolo and Julianne!
