4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July this year. My parents were here visiting. Also my brother and his family were here too.

As we lounged on our blanket under a tree waiting for the parade to start--I thought, "This is a little slice of America right here." Just exactly the way I love spending my 4th of July.

Later in the evening we headed over to the park in our small town for a the festivities. So much fun!
They had a petting zoo which was probably the most popular attraction for the kids.
The kids had so much fun together. The 4th of July has always been and continues to be my favorite holiday.

Wilson is going to KILL me, but I had to just throw this picture in at the end. The sprinklers were on while they were jumping and oh the giggles that came from the adults.

Looks like there is a very strategically placed buckle for Wilson so he can't complain too much. :)

Looks like fun!

The adults aren't the only ones giggling at our house... the kids thought that was HILARIOUS!
