So the most exciting thing that has been happening at our house lately is that Ace figured out how to undo the safety pin on his jammies at night time. He then proceeds to completely undress himself (diaper and all) which gives us all a heart attack. Major potential for disaster!
So we decided to cut the bottoms of his jammies off so we could put them on backwards--therefore cutting off access to the ever so intriguing zipper. After doing so, the little feet part of the jammies looked like slippers and Ace really wanted to wear them. He pretty much looked like Peter Pan. So hence we now call his jammies "Peter Pans."
We also finally finished painting our bathroom. This is the second attempt and it looks so much better than the first attempt. I LOVE this bathroom now!!
And finally: take a look at the first strawberry of the season! Straight out of our garden. It's gorgeous and juicy and delicious. I can't wait for a summer filled with strawberries and tomatoes. Hmmmm....

Alton's Peter Pans ROCK the KIWI! What a CUTE boy! Brilliant parents!
Well, we have been watching a lot of Napolean Dynamite lately. So when I clicked on your blog and saw that the name of the post was, "Peter Pans," I really thought I knew where it was all headed.
Ace's Peter Pan jammies are hysterical. Who would have ever thunk that you would have to resort to such things? Oh well, my philosophy is, "Whatever works." Don't be surprised, however, when you walk into his bedroom one of these mornings and find him in the buff again. As long as you can buy yourself enough time until he's potty trained, right?
Beautiful bathroom and beautiful strawberry! I'm jealous of both!!
What a cutie!! That's hilarious.. I love your bathroom too and strawberries..mmmm.mmmm. Did I mention it snowed here just a few days ago?:) I wish I were gardening!

LOL! Ace's jammies are CRACKING me up! What a fantastically funny solution! Your bathroom is gorgeous (and orange?!? SOOOOOOOOOO exciting!) and I am jealous of your homegrown strawberry! Ours are tiny and getting red too fast...Alas!
I am totally impressed that he figured out how to undo the safety pin! We have a little "smarty pants" (pun intended) on our hands.
