Beginnings of 2015
We've had a lot going on the 1st couple of months of 2015. We are adjusting to life with our dad as the Bishop. I must admit--it's not too bad! Although it's only been 3 months. I'll keep you posted. Wilson has totally stepped up these past couple of months. He's been such a huge help and an incredible leader in our family, at church, and at school. Here's an example of his freshened Christ-like attitude: A couple of weeks I was getting ready for a Beehive class presidency meeting at my house. Wilson was making breakfast burritos for the family. So he decided to make extras for my presidency to have during our meeting. They loved them of course! They really were quite delicious. And of course he had to instagram a picture of one.
In Maisy news--she just finished a production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown!" She was fantastic! It was a fun and energetic show with characters we all know and love. She played Linus which is a fun role because she developed a close friendship with "the blanket." Coincidentally, Wilson was also in a production of this same show about 4 years ago--same directors and everything. AND he just happened to play the role of Linus too. Maisy was thrilled to play the same character as her older brother. Check out this picture their directors put together for us. It's classic!
Ace has enjoyed his first season of playing basketball. He has learned a lot and his confidence has grown quite a bit. He has a really nice coach with a lot of patience and determination. In other words, it's not easy to coach a team of kindergartners/1st grade boys. There's a lot of running into each other (on purpose), tackling each other, falling down, etc. But one thing is true: they love their coach. Every time they huddle up, the boys just hug and put their arms around the coach. And they do a lot of team hugs. It's precious. I got a picture at the last game. I'm just grateful for a good sports experience--even if we've only made like 10 baskets the whole season (that's being generous!)
So we are doing pretty good. Our upcoming adventures: Spain and baseball season! Yay!
