Who thought up kindergarten graduation?
This is what I was furiously thinking to myself as I hefted Alton's car seat from the mini-van. I was sweating profusely and the wind had my hair in a tizzy and stuck to my lip gloss. I don't even know why I try to care that my lips are smooth and shiny. As Maisy climbed into the double stroller and we sped off to the gym--I thought:
"This is just a lousy reason to get kindergartners to wear a cap and gown, so we can Oooh and Ahhh over the little munchkins."
For the record I was actually on time, but I did NOT enter the gym on time because I had to park in the neighborhood next to the school and hike on over. Therefore we did not get seats.
BUT when I saw this bright adorable face receiving his mock diploma I must admit that the whole dang thing was pretty darn cute!! So, thank you--to those that put my kindergartner in a cap and gown so that we could have this precious memory forever.

Yeah for Kindergarten Graduates!
I know, it's one of those cheezy things in life that us moms love and ohh and ahh over and if they didn't have it we'd complain. and how could we not, look at him! he's precious and i bet you looked beautiful, hairy lips and all!
it's okay, i thought the same thing about law school graduation. minus the lip gloss. my lips are naturally smooth and shiny.
That's really cute, I would have liked to see Kaleb in that too. They had a music program but no graduation.
Ha ha ha! Only ours is worse -- it's OUTSIDE! At 5 pm -- the hottest time of the day! In ARIZONA! And no chairs or strollers. So yeah, we scheduled a vacation for that day.
PS COngrats Wil! He looks so cute.
Of course we're going to the US reunion. We're staying with Holly and Damon for a few days on our way up to Idaho. Eat ramen noodles every night for dinner and come!!! It would be so fun to see you guys again.
Wow! Wilson looks great in red! He's not wearing lip gloss is he?? Just kidding. Gotta love that Texas heat... it'll melt your make-up right off!
Congratulations Wilson!! WOO HOO!!
Love, A & J & the rest
haha Congrats Wil! I think I would right there with you in not being too happy about kindergarten graduation! I do think it's kind of silly but yes, I have to admit Wil does look pretty darn cute. And his smile is to die for. :)
