Cooped Up and Stir Crazy

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY
Come again another day...
Uhh...more specifically...
could you give it a rest for ONE day!
We really want to go outside and play--or go swimming--or go to the park...

HEY! We don't need no stinkin' sunshine to have FUN. Maisy had a great time catching raindrops in her hands.
And Wilson had as much fun as Gene Kelley did as he twirled his umbrella and stomped around in the rain. There wasn't really any singing going on though.

I love the cute faces! Your polka dot umbrella is adorable!

Thanks Emily! If you take a little closer look, you will notice that those yellow polka dots resemble simlie faces. Oh, and we bought the umbrella at Wal-Mart for like 2 dollars. Connection? Pretty funny.

I am so ready for the rain to stop too! But Covey has no problem with the puddles in front of our neighbor's house...that is where he runs off to every time we go out of the house. Yesterday it was super slick from being wet for so long that he took a nice little slip onto his back side. It was pretty funny, of course after we made sure he was just fine. Although, I guarantee he would have laughed hard at me if I were the one fallen down.

Oh man, that stinks! I've been watching the weather and saw that TX was getting hit hard. It's crazy how that works -- we're dying for rain and you're getting too much. Moderation in all things ;p

PS THe kids look adorable!

Sorry, Becki! You SHOULD do it! We love it here in Liberty. In fact we just got back from the pool that they have in our neighborhood that is so much fun. We liked the one story too. We also have loved our experience with Highland Homes too. So come on up! Next time stop by and say "Hi."
